Terms of Service
These terms apply from 1 January 2026 to use of Xyjecta at our Jakarta address. The site provides editorial information about training and wellbeing, not a personal service or a promise of outcome. "Use" in this document means reading an article, submitting the contact form, registering for an event listed on events.php, or otherwise interacting with any page described in this project. These terms are intended for an adult reader; we do not knowingly direct the site to children under 16, and the editorial content assumes a reader capable of making independent decisions about training and nutrition. These terms sit alongside, and should be read together with, our privacy policy, cookies policy, disclaimer, and medical disclaimer, each of which covers a distinct aspect of using the site. Where Indonesian law conflicts with a term below, the applicable mandatory provision of Indonesian law takes precedence over the conflicting wording here.
1. Acceptance
By reading or contacting the site, you agree to use it lawfully and respectfully. If you disagree, discontinue use. Lawful use includes refraining from attempting to interfere with the operation of the site, such as submitting the contact form in an automated or abusive manner, and respectful use includes communicating with our editorial desk in a civil manner even when raising a complaint or correction request. Acceptance occurs at the point of the first meaningful interaction, for example the moment a visitor submits the contact form rather than merely loading a page, though continued browsing after reviewing these terms is also treated as acceptance for ordinary reading activity. A reader who does not agree with a specific term, such as the intellectual property limits in Section 5, should stop using the affected feature rather than the whole site, where that is practical. We may update the mechanism for signalling acceptance, such as adding a checkbox to a future event-registration form, without that change altering the substance of the obligations described in this document.
- a) Browsing an article without contacting us constitutes acceptance of the general reading terms only.
- b) Submitting the contact form constitutes acceptance of the correspondence-handling terms in Section 4 and the privacy policy.
- c) Registering for an event constitutes acceptance of any additional event-specific conditions published on events.php.
2. Editorial Content
Articles are general information prepared for an adult audience. They may be incomplete, updated, or corrected, and should be interpreted with context rather than as individual instruction. An article about a strength-training progression, for example, describes a general approach rather than a personalised programme accounting for a specific reader's injury history or equipment access. Where an article is updated after publication, the revision date is intended to be reflected on the page, and the earlier version is not separately published, consistent with the correction approach described in our editorial policy. We make reasonable efforts to keep factual references current, but a reader relying on a specific figure, study citation, or recommendation for an important decision should verify it against a current primary source before acting. Editorial judgement about which topics to cover, and in how much depth, rests with Xyjecta's editorial desk and is not a service owed to any individual reader.
3. Health Context
Consult an appropriately qualified professional before changing exercise or nutrition, particularly where pain, illness, medication, pregnancy, or a diagnosed condition is present. This is especially relevant for the audience the site is written for, readers aged 35 and beyond, where a prior injury, a cardiovascular risk factor, or a medication interaction is more common than in a younger population and more likely to change what is appropriate. A qualified professional in this context means a licensed physician, physiotherapist, or other appropriately credentialed practitioner able to examine the individual reader, not a general fitness article. Where an article references a specific population, such as desk-based professionals managing lower-back discomfort, that reference is illustrative and does not substitute for an individualised assessment. Further detail on how health-related content is framed is set out in our separate medical disclaimer, which these terms incorporate by reference.
4. User Messages
You remain responsible for the accuracy and lawful nature of material submitted. Do not send confidential records or another person's information without permission. This means, for example, that a reader should not forward a family member's medical report when asking a general question, since that report may contain information the family member has not agreed to share with us. Messages submitted through the contact form are handled under the retention periods described in our privacy policy, and a reader submitting a message accepts that we may retain it for the purpose of answering the enquiry or investigating a related correction. A reader who submits defamatory, harassing, or unlawful content through any form accepts that we may decline to respond, may retain the message as a record of the incident, and may take any other step reasonably available to us, including declining further correspondence from the same sender.
- a) A general training question naming only the sender is an ordinary, acceptable submission.
- b) A message quoting a third party's private medical detail without that person's permission should not be sent through the form.
- c) Repeated automated submissions of the same message may be treated as abusive use under Section 1.
5. Intellectual Property
Text, marks, layout, and original graphics belong to Xyjecta or their licensors. Quoting a short passage with attribution is welcome; systematic copying or commercial republication is not. A short passage, for the purposes of this section, generally means a sentence or two sufficient to support commentary or discussion, accompanied by a clear link back to the original Xyjecta page. Systematic copying includes reproducing an entire article, or a substantial portion of several articles, on another website or in another publication without a separate licence from us. The Xyjecta name and any associated visual marks may not be used to suggest an affiliation, endorsement, or sponsorship that does not exist. Readers wishing to use our material beyond the short-quotation allowance described here, for example for an academic paper or a translated republication, are welcome to contact our editorial desk to discuss permission.
- a) A blog post quoting one sentence from a Xyjecta article with a link back is acceptable attribution.
- b) Reprinting a full Xyjecta guide on another website without permission is not acceptable.
- c) Using the Xyjecta name in a way that implies a partnership that has not been agreed requires prior written permission.
6. Links
Links are provided for reader utility and do not constitute endorsement. Third-party terms and privacy practices are outside our control. A link to a public-health resource or a research publication, for example, is included because it may help a reader find more detail on a topic mentioned in an article, not because Xyjecta has reviewed or guarantees the accuracy of everything on that external page. Where a linked page changes its content after we publish our article, we are not able to update our article every time the destination changes, and a reader should treat a linked resource as current only as of the date noted in our article, where one is given. We periodically review outbound links for continued relevance as part of routine editorial maintenance, and a link found to lead to an inactive or unsafe destination will generally be removed or updated.
7. Availability
We may edit, pause, or remove features for maintenance, safety, legal reasons, or editorial review. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Planned maintenance, where practical, is scheduled to minimise disruption to readers, though an unplanned technical issue may still cause a short period of unavailability without advance notice. A feature may also be removed permanently, for example if an event-registration workflow is replaced with a different format, in which case the corresponding page is updated or redirected rather than left showing outdated information. We are not responsible for a reader's inability to access the site due to the reader's own internet connectivity, device configuration, or regional network restrictions, which are outside our control. Where a scheduled outage is expected to last more than a few hours, we intend to note this on the homepage in advance where practical.
8. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Xyjecta is not responsible for loss arising from reliance on general content, third-party services, or unavailable pages. This limitation is intended to reflect the nature of the site as a general information resource rather than a personalised advisory service, and it does not exclude any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded under Indonesian law. For example, we are not responsible if a reader experiences a training setback after following a general programme outline without first considering their own injury history or without the individualised guidance recommended in Section 3. Similarly, we are not responsible for the content, availability, or practices of a third-party site reached through a link described in Section 6. Where a limitation in this section would otherwise be unenforceable under a mandatory rule of Indonesian consumer or civil law, that mandatory rule applies instead of the limitation to the minimum extent necessary.
9. Contact
Questions may be sent to Jalan Garuda No. 12, Kebon Sirih, Menteng, Jakarta Pusat 10340, Indonesia, or +62 21 6853 0927. A question about these terms specifically, as distinct from a general editorial enquiry, is best marked as such so it can be routed to the appropriate member of our small editorial team. We aim to acknowledge a terms-related enquiry within five business days, consistent with the response approach described in our privacy policy for complaints generally. Correspondence sent under this section is handled under the same retention and confidentiality practices described in our privacy policy, since a terms enquiry is treated as ordinary contact-form correspondence for that purpose. Where a question concerns a specific article rather than these terms as a whole, including the article's URL or title in the message helps us respond more precisely.
10. Changes
This version was reviewed 1 September 2026. Updated terms will show a new date and apply prospectively. The 1 September 2026 review did not change the substance of any section but confirmed that the terms remained consistent with our current editorial practices and the contact details above. We expect to review these terms again on a roughly annual basis, aligned with the review cadence described in our privacy policy, and sooner if we introduce a materially new feature such as a paid event or a membership area. Where a future revision would materially reduce a reader's existing rights under these terms, we intend to give more visible notice than a simple date change at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after a dated revision is treated as acceptance of the then-current terms for activity occurring after that date.
